An archive is a refusal to forget.
Mission
CulturalFascist Archive documents acts of cultural fascism — censorship, book bans, destruction of heritage, persecution of artists and writers — as verified historical incidents.
Regimes count on forgetting. This archive is built against that: every record carries dates, places, institutional actors and published sources, in English and in Bengali.
Methodology
Every published record requires at least one verifiable source — news coverage, academic work, NGO documentation or court records. Most records carry several, and archived copies are kept where possible.
Public submissions enter a review queue. Editors check claims against sources; only admin-published incidents become publicly visible. There is no voting anywhere — credibility comes from sources, not crowds.
Editorial rules
These rules are enforced in the data model, the moderation flow and the interface itself:
- 01Incidents, not enemies — describe an event with dates, places and sources, never a private individual.
- 02Institutional actors only — states, agencies, courts, organizations, or an unidentified mob. Documented public victims may be named.
- 03Editorial verification, not voting — editors check sources before anything is published.
- 04Every published incident requires at least one source: news, academic, NGO or court record.
- 05Submissions enter a review queue; only verified, admin-published records become publicly visible.
